Your report must be serious and genuine. It may have consequences for individuals or for the company.

The admissibility of your report will be assessed in order to determine whether:

  • The reported facts are sufficiently serious
  • The reported facts are harmful
  • The reported facts breach the law, regulations or the Code of Conduct
  • The reporting person has personally witnessed the situation
  • The report is made in good faith and without any personal interest 
  • Supporting documents may help substantiate the report

GUARANTEES

The confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower, the persons concerned and any third party mentioned in the report is guaranteed.
Information enabling the whistleblower to be identified may not be disclosed without their consent. However, it may be transmitted to the judicial authorities in certain cases.
Where the persons responsible for receiving or handling reports are required to report the facts to the judicial authorities, information identifying the whistleblower may also be communicated to them. In such cases, the whistleblower will be informed.
Whistleblowers benefit from a protection regime and may not be subjected to any retaliation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A person who submits a report is not criminally liable provided that the disclosure of the facts is necessary and proportionate, complies with the reporting procedure and meets the definition of a whistleblower. 
Reports are handled by a competent and qualified officer. 
The integrity and confidentiality of the information are strictly guaranteed.

 

Reports are retained only for the time strictly necessary to process them and to protect the whistleblower, the persons concerned and any third parties mentioned.
